HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My how time flies. It seems just like yesterday we opened shop and took the plunge. Each year has been exciting and many of you know the economy in WNY is not the best environment to start a business let alone keep it running for 5 years. THAT’S RIGHT we are going on 5 years and want to know our secret for our success?!? It’s our customers! Each and every one of them who made this possible for us to keep on trucking through the years. You have our deepest gratitude. THANK YOU!
As 2008 roles on, we plan to really show our gratitude to our customers. Our IPOD give-a-way was so successful that we have decided to run a referral contest once every 3 months. We are still working on the details but some of the prizes include a nights stay @ the Seneca Niagara Casino Resort and Spa, a external backup drive, 6 month pass card (free service card), and many more! Keep your eye on our website for more details to come.
Thanks again for all your business and please if you have any suggestions or ideas please don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us an email. Who better to hear from then our customers.
Best Wishes in 2008

MYSPACE
What you might not know...
One day a parent asked them self…
How could I not have been aware of this?
Now ask yourself. What is your Childs online identity?
Before you shrug it off as far fetched, realize that MySpace.com is now the most visited site online. Right up there with eBay and ahead of Aol
It is a safe bet that if you’re teenage kid is one of the 80 million members on MySpace.com. You read right – over 80 milllion!
It is irresistible to young adults. It's totally free to join. It's an easy site to meet new people, chat with friends, exchange gossip, pictures and more.
However there is also a dark side. Although MySpace does their best to monitor 80 million sites and remove inappropriate material, it’s easy to browse bios and find risqué pictures, comments, and personal information on teens or anyone else who has created a page.
Unfortunately, this also makes it a perfect site for sexual predators and pedophiles to find their next victim. Way too easy. Especially since MySpace.com used a lengthily questionnaire to create a profile.
There are enough questions to reveal a busload of personal tastes and preferences of anyone.
Like a candy store full of young adult profiles for some in our society.
After I dealt with the shock of what my brother had put online I decided to help the millions of other parents that are facing the same thing right this minute.
We at Wakist Technologies care about you and your family. The hyperlink below, will open a new window which will open a site called a “parents guide to myspace”. Check it out, if you would like a copy of the book call our office or email at @ web@wakist.com
